Hi, my name is Tammy Irwin, I am looking for information on the Rock family from Hagerstown, Maryland... Herny and Betty Rock these are my gr.gr.grandparents, I know of one child Charles H.Rock who is my gr.grandfather... No one knows Betty Rock maiden name, No one knows if Charles had any brothers or sisters, No one knows who took care of him after his parents were killed.... In the year 1876 there was a train wreck in or around Maryland on that train were my gr.gr.grandparents... They were killed in this wreck... This would of made my gr.grandfather ten yrs. old the time of his parents death... Probably when grandpa Rock turned 21, he left Maryland... The rest of the story goes as follows;;;;;; Grandpa Rock left Maryland to work on a flood, in Johnstown, Penna. when his work was done he found his way to Fayette County, Penna. this is where he met and married Charlotte A.Rimel they had the following children..... Florence A.Rock Daughtery, Laura Belle Rock Wells, Viola Ma! y Rock Nutt, Hazel L.Rock Sowden, Charles H.Rock Jr.(Pete), William Rock, James Rock..
