Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Md/BaltimoreCity/13477 Surname: BROWNING, DRAKE ------------------------- According to the census my 2x great-grandfather,Thomas Drake, was born somewhere in MD. in 1810.He was married to Hannah BROWNING on 25 Jan.1837 in Harrison Co.,OH.I don't know who either of their parents were. Hannah was also born in MD.circa 1815.Their children were:William,Benjamin,John,Thomas Carter(my line),George Washington,Mary,Wesley,Frederick,Cassandra & Esther. All of the children were born in various counties in OH. but mostly Monroe.Most of the family moved to Wapello Co.,IA. by the 1870 census;except for William,George & Thomas.
