I recently learned that my gggrandfather ISAAC HOLLAND served as a drummer at the Maryland Line during Rev. War. Does anyone know of any books written about the defense of Baltimore, (Maryland Line), especially Capt. William Marbury's Company of Artillery in 1777, and Capt. Bruce's Co. of infantry, 1st U.S. Regt. ? "Marriages & Deaths From the MD Gazette" lists HOLLAND, ISAAC, died at the Half-Way House between Baltimore and Annapolis, Sept. 21, 1826. What was the "Half-Way House, where was (is) it located, and would they have any records from this period? Many thanks for any assistance. Bill.
