Hello, I am seeking information re: my possible ancestor Joshua Wright, who, in 1747, was bequeathed a tract of land in Baltimore County called Chapman's Fellowship. This land was left to Joshua by his father, Edward Wright of Dorchester County. I was wondering if anyone on the list is familiar with the history of the land tract Chapman's Fellowship and how it may have come into the possession of the Wrights, who, to my knowledge, seem to have had no other ties to Baltimore apart from this particular property.
