Elizabeth MALAHAN, "of MD', b1792 m8/2/1808 Richard LENOX, and their first child was "John W. LENOX b10/18/1809 Fairfield Co., OH. Then they went to Shelby Co., OH, where Richard served in the Militia and they had a daughter, Julia Ann LENOX b10/10/1812. I have a conflicting account that say that they stayed in MD for 7 years (1808-1815), but that doesn't seem to fit with other information. Richard's father, John LENOX, served in the RevWar. I have found a John LENOX [also John LENNOX], who served with the Maryline Line, and there is also a Patrick MOLOHON [also Patk. MOLLIHAN]. This might be the original connection????? John LENOX married Rachel Elizabeth YORK b1860-1870, and Richard was b1783. John died in VA, and Rachel brought her children to Marietta, OH. I have direct written evidence that Richard was in Marietta in 1803. I also have a Charles W. MOLLEHON in the Quadrenal Census of 1835 & 1839 in Washington Twp., Shelby Co., OH. In the 1830 U. S. Census, Charles MALLAHAN is in Turtle Creek Twp., Shelby Co., six listings away from Richard LENOX. Charles MOLLEHAN is in Washington Twp., (adjacent to Turtle Creek Twp., in the 1840 census. In the 1850 census for Turtle Creek Twp, Shelby Co., OH, in Richard & Elizabeth's household #125, we have a Lebina MOLAHOM/MOLAHONE, 100yrs, bVA. Elizabeth's mother?? This is the sum total of what I have found so far. Can you make anything out of it? Bruce Sloan
