    1. [MDBALT] Where would a child from the Catholic parish of St. Michael, Baltimore City, be buried between 1855-1860?
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Fiedler Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AFB.2ACI/3644 Message Board Post: I am looking for information regarding the death of a child (John Fiedler) who was born in Baltimore City, baptized 20 May 1855 in St. Michael's RC Church, and died before the family moved to New York City (before June 1860). The parents were German and rigidly Catholic, so I assume their child would have been buried in "hallowed ground" in a Catholic Cemetery if such existed at the time. I've noticed that the death records for that parish don't begin until 1860, according to the film description of the parish microfilm at Maryland State Archives. Any help suggesting places to look (and where to find those records -- I live in another state) would be much appreciated. Thanks! D.
