VA First German Evangelical Reformed Church of Frederick Co. MD. The four cemeteries books I have no entries for Theis (various spellings). I have 1860 Baltimore City, MD 1st & 2nd wards, no entries. Maryland Mortality Schedules 1850 & 1860 no entries. I do not know about the following entry from "Maryland Mortalities 1877-1915" by Walter E. Arps, Jr. "Thies, Henry W. n.a. artist, Baltimore City, November 5, 1897" I will keep your surname in mind as I go through the actual 1880 census.
