Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AFB.2ACI/3295.2.2.1.1.1.1.3 Message Board Post: I guess it was about eight years ago, I wrote and received from the State of MD Records Department copies of the actual death certificiates for John Joseph Desch died 28 Nov 1895 and his wife Elizabeth (Claus) Desch died 2 Apr 1892 This is pretty good, for the State of VA just has official death certificates after the years of about 1910. Of course, the trick is you have to know your ancestors death dates. I will check the cemeteries books I have dealing with Baltimore, MD and see what I have on hand.
