His father's name was also John Hartman. I'm wondering if anyone has done research into the Hartman families that lived in Baltimore in the 1850's, 60's and 70's that may reveal any details about either John Hartman. The two details that I have about the younger John Hartman are: 1. He was baptized in Baltimore at St. Michael's Catholic Church in 1879 2. and he was married to Frances Gasser in Baltimore at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in 1909.
