New Cathedral Cemetery (earlier called Bonnie Brae) is called the Archdiocesan cemetery. It is located at 4300 Old Frederick Rd in Baltimore City. You can write them for information or call the office at 410-566-7770. It is a very large, active cemetery. They have been very helpful to me; when I asked about a certain surname they were able to give me a computer printout of all people interred there with that surname and the date of burial. I recently received a copy of the June 26, 1889 obit page of the Sun from the Pratt Library. There is an obit included for Mary Ann Flynn, daughter of Mary and the late John Kane. Mary Kane lived on Eastern Ave. Let me know if you want the entire obit. If you know the date of death for your Mrs. Kane, you can email the Pratt from their web site and they will look up and send you the obit--I believe it's up to 6 pages free. I have a Susan Alice Kane, who married Robert Marion Hunter in my ancestry. I don't have any information about her as she is in my father's line and I haven't done much with that yet. I don't have her birth or death dates, but she had a son in 1875.
