In the 1850 Census Baltmore Co. there is a William SNYDER, age 9, listed with his parents Adam and Maria SNYDER. In the 1860 Census there is a William SNYDER listed at the Marine Hospital in Anne Arrundel County. He is listed as a "ships carpenter." William F. SNYDER was in the Civil War in the 13th Virginia Infantry, Co. G. In this unit he was a "ships carpenter" I am looking for any info on the William SNYDER in the Maryland Census listed above, and for information on the Marine Hospital. Was it for mariners? Navy? Did they employ carpenters, or was he likely a patient? Thanks in advance for any help. Larry Hallstrom
