He died probably in Jefferson Co., OH. He married TEMPERANCE COAL/COLE 14 October 1786 in Baltimore County (don't know if it was in the actual county or city). Temperance was born abt 1745 in Maryland and died 12 February 1827 probably in Jefferson Co. OH. In their son's records from Morgan Co., Ohio, her last name was spelled COAL so am unsure of the spelling. Their children: ANN b. 1762; SUSANNA b. 1771; ROBERT b. 6-7-1789; NANCY b.1790; GREENBERRY 4-5-1798; ELIZABETH . All of the children were supposedly born in Maryland except Greenberry who was born in Huntingdon Co.,PA. Sometime after his birth the family moved to Jefferson Co., Ohio. Greenberry and Robert ended up in Morgan Co., Ohio and lived there until they died. I have not been able to connect Temperance to any of the Cole/Coale/Coal lines in the Baltimore County area. However, I am sure she is related somehow. I believe she is related to the ROBERT COLE line (I am taking a shot in the dark as she had a son named Robert and with the custom of the time - and my family- they would have named one son after her father and one after his), however this only a presumption on my part. They were probably Quakers. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. I do know their marriage record is in the state archives in Annapolis which states Baltimore, MD.
