    3. Posted on: BaltimoreCity County Md. Query Forum Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Md/BaltimoreCity/3257 Surname: Hewitt, Hewett, Huitt, Huett ------------------------- I am looking for information relating to a Benjamin Hewitt who was born ca 1776. His grandson, Joshua Soule Hewitt, was buried in Cedar Hill Cemetary in Baltimore City County. Benjamin lived from 1814 to his death in 1839 in St. Mary's County. There is no record of his burial location, but the accountings of his estate seemed to indicate a lot of steamship and vehicle travel to Baltimore shortly after his death. So there is a remote possibility he was buried there. Because of that small piece of information, it is possible that there was a family plot and if so, then Benjamin may have been born in this area also. Any suggestions and/or help would be appreciated.
