They lived in Baltimore City for approximately 10 years. He was a hotel manager, and they lived at 614 N. Broadway when he died on 8-27-1947, at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She died in 1967 in Port Republic, Va., where they are both buried. My father was Julian Ross Green(e)Sr. born 1915 in Baltimore to James Roy Green and Mary Goebel. They divorced almost at his birth and James R. Green lived in D.C. and had another family. My father never saw him again or only a few times. As grandchildren, we never heard of or saw him. We were just told he lived in DC and had another family. I think his family was from DC. When he died in the 1960's, the family on that side sent a picture to my father of his Dad and that was the first time I ever saw his likeness. I just thought the name Julian and the fact that my father's Dad lived in D.C. were a possible connection. I am having great difficulty tracing this line because of the lack of information. I don't know the names of James Roy Green's parents except that his mother was supposed to be Belgian and her name may have been Marie Josephine Liege or Josephine Marie Liege.
