Hi. Louis Theodore DeROUSSE was raised Philadelphia, then Camden, NJ was his home. He had served in various governmental positions, and there is a fair amount known about his public service. Now! He was the source of ***scandal*** in the year 1903, after having been in his second term as Camden Postmaster for 6 months. Another woman -- Digging into the Till -- etc. Why do I write to Baltimore? For a lookup. You see, he fled to the city of Baltimore -- the home of a Mr. SWINDELL, an old friend and former Camden resident. Discussion of Suicide is made in the week-long series of NJ newspapers. There were probably also Philadelphia papers on the subject, as that was part of his flight, and that is where the "other woman" was reputed to be from. I am having that researched. Do any of you have fairly easy access to the Baltimore 1903 newspapers? I would really like to receive the Baltimore perspective on all of this. Thanks, Vince Summers (I posted once before, but believe it was too soon to be accepted. Sorry if you see another of my posts, written earlier...)
