Davis, President of Davis and Davis, a dry goods merchant on 4-6 Camden in Baltimore. Frank was later President of Davis and Davis in 1936, listed in the Baltimore city directory as living in Washington D.C. He had a sister Minnie, a chemist with the city. Harry's brother was George, also a partner in the Davis and Davis business. George's children were Wilson and Emily. I am interested in information on Frank and any ancestors or descendants. My John YOUNG gave his daughter, Elizabeth a dowery in 1805 in Harrison Co W Va. In 1804, there is a land record for John and Mary YOUNG of Baltimore, Md in the Harr. Co W Va land records. The other land records in Harrison Co. W VA for John YOUNG seem to indicate that there is only one and that he had 5000 acres of land in the county and was originally from Philadelphia, Pa to Baltimore. He must have some relationship to a Samuel YOUNG, who also appears in the records there as the timing for both men's land records coincide and some of the records include both Samuel and John.

She married William Elgin Birch in San Francisco, CA in 1858. He died in 1862. It appears that her mother had the initials H. A. Stevens and was born around 1817, and had a brother named George W. Stevens who was born around 1850.

Loretta was the daughter of James Kelly and Mary Barnes. Loretta and 3 brothers and sisters were raised in a Catholic orphanage after their father James died. Mary Barnes Kelly remarried.
