Per Judy's posted obituary, Charles William Essom m. Florence Loats (she was b. I believe June 21, 1883, d. Dec 1972, was daughter of Lewis H. Loats and his second wife Rebecca Caples), their son Charles W. Essom Jr. b. May 22, 1909 died December 11, 1984.

I recently learned that my gggrandfather ISAAC HOLLAND served as a drummer at the Maryland Line during Rev. War. Does anyone know of any books written about the defense of Baltimore, (Maryland Line), especially Capt. William Marbury's Company of Artillery in 1777, and Capt. Bruce's Co. of infantry, 1st U.S. Regt. ? "Marriages & Deaths From the MD Gazette" lists HOLLAND, ISAAC, died at the Half-Way House between Baltimore and Annapolis, Sept. 21, 1826.
