The addresses listed for individuals were their residences.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/AFB.2ACI/3608.1.1 Message Board Post: Kathy: Thanks for checking and, more importantly, for the link to the 1864 city directory -- a resource I am guaranteed to use again. In 1864, Samuel Brown was enlisted in the Baltimore Battery, so I'm not sure if any of these are my guy. The address I have for him in 1866 (via his obituary) is No. 4 Hoffman, so I checked for his wife's name, any other Brown's at this address, etc. I think I'll have to keep digging to see if I can link him to any of these addresses in 1864. Thanks again.

I am specifically seeking information on Patrick Geraghty who supposedly came there from Headford Ireland. in 1920, Patrick's son Vincent Geraghty was living in Baltimore with her widowed sister Mrs. Kate Grogen. Kate may have had a son named Peter Grogan or Vincent Grogan. Patrick also had a sister Elizabeth Labaugh who is also thought to have resided in Baltimore. I would like to contact anyone with a connection to these families. Also seeking information on John T Geraghty who was on the staff of Johns Hopkins in the early 1920s. He died about 1926. He had a wife and daughter both named adelia.

Maguire, had worked for the B & O RR in Baltimore and then moved to Knoxville with the RR there. Is anyone familiar with a school with spelling similar to "Stereus" or "Sterus" School in the Baltimore area back in the late 1890's? Thanks so very much! You will probably need to contact the Circuit Court in the jurisdiction where you were married and/or divorced to get your marriage & divorce certificates. Death records are available with some restrictions from the Dept. of Vital Statistics for up to 10 years after date of death. After that I think they are open.
