The JFX follows the Jones Falls. It is possible that the properties you are looking for disappeared at that time. You might try obtaining a map from the '50's. BTW--how much do you know about the O'Brien's? I have a branch in my family through a Patrick Fogarty.

You can search by state, then more local, down to the street. Searching on "Central" brought up a handful of possibilities. Note that # 1209, by nature of being on odd number is on the east side of Central Avenue (runs north/south) based on the numbering pattern of Baltimore streets. So it would be included if the description states "bounded to the west by Central." "Bounded by the east would only give the even side of the block. Numbers on streets that run east/west are consistent also -- even #s are on the north side (south boundary) and odd numbers on the south of the street(north boundary). Good luck!

Going through some old pictures, I found a picture (postcard type) of a handsome young man. On the back it shows his birth and death dates and age when the picture was taken. My only clue is that the photo was taken in Baltimore. Laurence G. Schubert born 21 Feb 1896 and died 08 January 1916. (Age 18 when photo was taken) Although I believe he is most likely a nephew to my gr. grandmother, Ursula Schubert Schuck, I do not know how, or if, I am related to him. I would like to find out if there is anyone tracing the Schubert family of Baltimore, that might know Laurence G.Schubert. I am trying to find out if I can receive the death certificate from the Maryland Archives, however but $20 seems a bit expensive, especially since I am not even sure if the death occurred there. Does anyone have any other ideas? Thank you so much for your time. Patrice Houck Schadt

Does anyone out there know the connection between the Harford and Baltimore County Breidenbaugh families? I thought I understood until I discovered that there are two Conrad Breidenbaugh's, one buried at the old Salem U. M.E. Church in Jarrettsville (1843-1935), wife Elizabeth Boenick; Conrad G. Breidenbaugh buried at Waugh Un. M. Church, Glen Arm, Balto. Co., (1846-1932), wife Katherine B. (possibly Katherine Burton). At Shawsville, there is Bradenbaugh Road, and buried at McKendree M.E.Cemetery on Troyer Road, there are about 14 graves with the name Bradenbaugh (no Conrad's, though). Any clues? My connection is through the Boenick's and my interest in family history started because Elroy C. Ritter did a family history on the Boenick, Jordan, and Breidenbaugh families in the 1960's. Betty

Is the Baltimore County Historical Society in Cockeysville worth the trip? Do they have information that would be different than what is found in the Maryland Historical Society or the Maryland state archives? I see they are closed in August so if it is worth the trip I'll have to plan that for September. Thanks for any info. Bob Metheny
