He was born about 1865 in New York City, may have been raised in Mass. He married Jessie Calderwood of Ohio. They lived in Pittsburgh in 1890's, had 3 children there: Rose (1896), Joseph (1898) and Louis (1902). Moved to Harrisburg, PA in early 1900's and then to Princess Anne County (Va. Beach), VA in around 1907, daughter Jean born 1911. Lived in Newport News from about 1911-1915 and then moved to Baltimore. He died in 1943 and is buried in Pittsburgh (Calvary Cemetery?). His parents may have been Joseph and Rose Biggini, born in Italy. As you can see, he moved around a bit. Has anyone seen him in their census data?

Hello all and new to the list! I found which i believe to be my grandafather's brother in the context of military men, 1917-18. in Maryland. Gives his name, Frank Kleinschmidt, address, birth place, age then comments. Hoping to find someone that has knowledge of a marriage between a female SCHAEFER and an UNCLEBACH(k), or a means of looking up marriages in Baltimore. The SCHAEFER given name could be Catharine, Anne, Margaret or Teresa. I have no idea of the given name for the male UNCLEBACH. In my great, great grandmother's will, she left a sum of money to her niece and namesake, Mary Cecilia UNCLEBACH, so I am assuming that one of her sister's listed above married an UNCLEBACH. The will was written in 1915, so I would think that the marriage was somewhere after 1875 and before 1915. By the time the estate was settled in 1938, Mary Cecilia UNCLEBACH was Mary Cecilia AHL. Louisa Dunkes lived on Orleans St. in 1900(Election District 25) & 1910 (Ward6, Election District 70). In 1880, she would have had a child, Francis/Frank Dunkes in 1878, and MIchael Dunkes, in 1880 (may not be listed). I do not know the father's name. Subsequest children are: John, George, Crasanca (Sadie), William, Louise, and Anna. If you have time could you try other spellings to see if we can a Louisa, with child Francis? Other names I have thought of are: Dinkes, Duncas, Dunckes, Dunges, Dankes Sorry I do not know if Orleans St. existed in 1880. But I would guess that they didnt move far. Thanks in advance!!!! Karen

After posting, I found a book in the local library entitled 'Friends Burying Ground.' The book lists burials at the Friends Burial Ground - and it is the one located in the 2500 block of Harford Road. The grounds are gated and I will need to set up an appointment to vist.

I think you found the William Schwing that I have been looking for, for soooo long! He has a son named, Joseph -- his father was Joseph too! I think the Valentine Schwing could have been the elder, Joseph Schwing's father, but not sure. Too bad there are no Dunkes names. It must have changed spellings. I am guessing -- Doenges may have been the original name. But not much luck there either. Thanks again for all of your time typing that information in. It was extremely helpful too me!
