Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/AFB.2ACI/1589.1 Message Board Post: Sure hope you are still monitoring these boards! I just found this in Elizabeth McGuigan Neary's (1835-1907) bible! Her mother was a Milholland. Elizabeth came to Baltimore in 1852 f rom Northern Ireland. Her parents were both dead. WOODS—On January 22, 1912, Elizabeth Milholland, aged 96 years, widow of the late Michael Woods. May her soul rest in peace. Funeral will take place from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Patrick Kenny, No. 1106 East North Avenue, on Thursday, at 8 o”clock, thence to St. John’s Church, where a requiem Mass will be said for the repose of her soul. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. My mother Ellen, the granddaughter of Eliz. McGuigan, talked of Aunt Woods and a relative Jenny Kenny. Jenny Kenny gave my mother a very, very nice present when she got married in 1930. She did so because she believed that my mother and my grandmother were named for her mother Ellen. I think Eliz Milholland and my gggrandmother were sisters. is it possible that these are the people you are looking for? Do you have any other information?
