I am having trouble finding anything, birth or death records on my grandparents, Thomas Kiddy dob16 Jan1895, and his wife Nina Mabel Knott dob April 1896. Some family notes say that Thomas died 22 May 1952, and Nina sometime in 1954. I am told Thomas was born in Pekin. And I think Nina was probably born in Piedmont where her family lived, or Keyser ( I don't know if the hospital was there then or not). But, the census says she was born in West Virginia. I haven't been able to come up with any hits online. Is the only way I can get info is to send to the Vital Records depts. in MD and WV? Louann
