I found information that Samuel Heavilin (s/o Stephen) and Mary Layport were married 02 Jun 1794 in Allegany Co., MD. I have no documentation for this, but I am very anxious to track the Heavilin migration from NJ to Maryland, to Pennsylvania, to Ohio, and to find how our family connects to the NJ Haviland family. I have been told that Samuel had a brother named John, for whom we have no records, and a brother named Stephen, who moved to Ohio with him.
