    3. I know there's at least one of our list members who is connected to the Hamiltons in Lonaconing. I hope you can identify this Dennis C. Hamilton's father, Herman Hamilton. I ask because I have a close cousin, Herman Hamilton, who is still living in the Frederick area, grew up in Cumberland, I think. He is one of my Hamiltons without a doubt. And he's the one who sent me the querie. Thanks for any help. Hamilton, 56, of 14818 Broadway St., Midland, died Thursday, June 8, 2000, at Memorial Hospital. Born June 18, 1943, in Midland, he was a son of the late Herman Hamilton and Renna Jane (Grey) Hyde. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Midland, former Councilman of the Town of Midland, Midland Volunteer Fire Company, charter member of Georges Creek Ambulance Service, Lonaconing, past president of the Allegany and Garrett County Volunteer Firemen's Association, past president of A. Mike Walters Fellowship of Christian Fire Fighters Chapter. Denny was a former employee of Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing, and was a former bartender at the Midland Volunteer Fire Company. Denny is survived by his wife, Donna Beverly (Clark) Hamilton; and three stepchildren, Lisa Muir, Scott Lease and Roy Lease. Denny requested that his body be cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at the Grace United Methodist Church, Midland, Monday, June 12, 2000, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Neva Leatherwood officiating. The Midland Volunteer Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary will conduct a commemorative service at the church at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills, Md. Arrangements are being handled by the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Midland Fire Company or Grace United Methodist Church. Memorial envelopes will be available at the church or funeral home.
