I don't think Lackland Air Force Base existed in 1857 because the Airplane was not even invented yet -----Original Message----- From: mdallega-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:mdallega-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of cbeachy Sent: Friday, February 09, 2007 6:16 PM To: mdallega@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MDALLEGA] Muir families This is all I have of Oliver: Very short obituary says only that Ollie had been a resident at Frostburg Village apartments and was the last surviving member of his family. He was to be cremated with burial of his ashes at Frostburg Memorial Park. He died 31 May 2001. It's like this: I got married in 1857 and moved, with my husband, to Lackland AFB in Columbus, Ohio for two years. Had two children. 1960 I moved, with my children, to Bedford, Beds, England as my husband was stationed at Alconbury AFB there. End of 1963 we got moved to McClellan AFB in Sacramento, Ca. Retired and moved back here to Allegany Co. in 1990. Thus I had very little time visiting Aunt Tish. The picture of her at the table was taken on Thanksgiving, a week before we left for California. I saw her only two more times.
