In the 1930 census, my grandfather, Harvey Wineland, is listed as being employed as a tire builder in a rubber factory. He and his wife, Ida May ( Burley ), were living on Buchanan Street, in Ellerslie, at the time, and I can't imagine where this factory might have been.
