I have the transcriptions (done by me) of three different Allegany County deeds. In each one a JOHN RUBY is involved in the property as follows: #1. Book H.- Page 322 - recorded 29 Apr 1815 - Buyer is John Ruby & Seller is Thomas Burgess of Allegany County. Name of land is DEER PARK. #2. Book M - Page 430 - recorded 24 Aug 1824 - Seller is George Uphold, Sr. of Allegany County. Buyer is John Ruby. Name of property is CATHERINE'S FANCY and it's located on the east side of Warrior Mountain. #3. Book H - Page 321 - recorded 3 or 23 Oct 1815 - buyer is John Ruby and seller is Adam Kanke. Names of property are: BAD LUCK, TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, and RESURVEY ON DANNISON'S VALLEY. I don't have the original copys, only my transcriptions. Anyone interested contact me at cbeachy@hereintown.net
