    3. If anyone on this list digs up any written history on the six mile house I would be interested in it. My great grandmother, Margaret Starkey lived there as evidenced by the death certificate of her son, Walter when he was 12. It states that his place of residence was the 6 Mile house. And it would have been the one west of Cumberland not the one on the east side of Cumberland. Was it an apartment house, tavern/way station etc. Would be interesting to find a written history on it.
