James Grant Macfarlane was my supervisor at work for many years. Somewhere I have his obit, but I will have to do some searching. His wife, Jean, died at a rather young age, early to mid fifties. He had two children, Jimmy and Dorothy. The last time I heard Jimmy lived maybe down around Virginia, but not sure. Dorothy was still in Cumberland the last I heard anything of her. I believe she was married to a Kegh at one time time, but then divorced. I think she had two children, a boy and girl. I started working with Jim in 1969. He was a probation agent in Cumberland. After the retirement of the supervisor, he became the supervisor until he became ill, and retired. I can't remember exactly when he died, but I think in the late 80's. Jean's brother owned a paint store in Cumberland, and I believe it was family owned. Sorry I can't remember more details. Hope this will help you and others looking for information.
