I have been in the computer security business for over 20 years and although this software program may be totally legitimate, I have seen this very same approach used by hackers over the years to get people to use free software that has what is called " a trojan horse" (pieces of software that allow someone else to access your computer remotely, get your passwords used, and to use it to spread viruses or break into other computer systems) "without you ever knowing it is happening." And, unless Matt has taken precautions to block modifications to his program, other nefarious people out there could modify his program without his knowledge. This is not meant to knock Matt's efforts, just to recommend using some basic security. I highly recommend that anyone who uses the program run a virus scan and antispyware scan on their computer afterwards. I just finished writing it a little bit ago, and need people to test it out. I am curious as to which operating systems and internet browsers it works with. I call it "Surname Suggestion List". More information can be found at http://home.triad.rr.com/combsfamily/sslmain.html . I have tried running it on Windows Vista Professional and Windows XP both running Intenet Explorer 7.0. I am particularly interested in seeing if it works with other web browsers and figured I might get some good feedback from the folks on this list. The download of the program is free. However, after 15 days, the user will be limited to 1 search each time they run the program if they have not donated. I wanted feedback on that as well. Of course everyone loves free unlimited, but no-one would give if they could use it all they wanted for free. Try it out and let me know what you think (good or bad - I can take it). Matt
