Thanks for all of your help and concerns. I called up the Cumberland Times and found another article about the wreck which was practically the same as you had sent. It appears that she is getting excellent care there, as she is now awake, writing notes, and the ventilator has been removed and she is breathing on her own. Hopefully she will be talking soon.
