Doris Yes, I know the area. Cannot recall a school in that area. I do know of a school on 220N (Bedford Road, the MD side) before the Bedford Road VFD. It was a one room school house. Are you referring to that school by chance. The land was sold from my husband's family to the Allegany School Board. I cannot find much information about the school to date. However, I have heard about an existing photo of the class in front of the school. Haven't seen the photo yet.
