    2. You say you use the railroad records where do you look this up? Is there a web site I can use. A lot of my family worked for the railroad in the early 1900s. Pat ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

    3. I GOOGLED the name of the railroad my g grandfather worked for in the late 1800s in the Greater Cleveland area. Contacted them for direction to possibly get data on him. I'll check my files to see if I have any addresses still. However, that was several years ago. Not sure I still have them. However, I did try to find another g grandfather's records via GOOGLE but had no city directory data or correct surname spelling. He had emigrated to Rising Sun MD (Cecil County) area about 1850. Married around 1860 and followed the railroad expansion to Crestline, OH after the Civil War. Unfortunately, could find no records for him. All I had was oral history re: the railroad name. He died pre 1880. Unfortunately, MD civil records didn't start until the 1890s so have no records re: this paternal side of the family (marriage, birth, naturalization, etc.) until their arrival in Crawford County OH. They didn't seem to be around at census times either in MD!!!! Mary Ellen Chambers Lakewood, OH Rroost22@aol.com wrote: You say you use the railroad records where do you look this up?
