Looking for anyone who is researching a DAWSON family in Westernport, MD on the 1900 census. I believe that Libby B. DAWSON listed is the sister of Joseph GLENN and that they are originally from Springfield, Page Co., VA. Libby is listed as the wife of a James M. DAWSON with brother Joseph GLENN in their household. A good guess would be that Joseph GLENN becomes the 1st husband to Birdie GORDON between 1900-1903. There is some evidence that after their marriage they relocated to Pennsylvania where two children were born - Leonard F. Glenn @ 1903 and a sister Agnes Marie Glenn 1905. By 1910 Birdie is living with her two children in Page Co., VA. What happened to Joseph Glenn? If any of this looks like family - let me hear from you. I'm looking at an unusual (for me, the noobie) record for an Isabella Ritchie in the 1841 Scotland census who may or may not be related. She is with a group of people, all ages, only a couple seemingly related to each other at "Nuthill House", Falkland, Fife, Scotland. Occupation for most, including a 60 year old is either "F S" or "M S", seemingly "F" indicating female and "M" indicating male. I would think these are students but one is age 60. If this is "my" Isabella, she would have been 19 or 20, same as this woman with these others. One of the individuals has an occupation of "Wright J", 2 with the occupation of "Ind". Any ideas?
