I was wondering if anyone has any information on the murder of my gg-grandfather, Douglas Love, Dec 6, 1868, at his home in Lonaconing. He was the boss miner for the Central Coal Company at the time. I am reading the book, The Best Dressed Miners, Life and Labor in the Maryland Coal Region 1835-1910, and he is mentioned in it. It is a fascinating book. Does anyone know where I can find out more information about it, or any other fascinating books about the area? Thank you, Louann Kiddy Creasy jcreasy@cfl.rr.com
