I wonder if there might be someone who has access to Ancestry who might be able to look and see if there is a family with a child named Josephine, age 5 years, in the 1870 census for Allegany County. They probably would be located in Westernport, Barton or Lonaconing. Her parents were not married, so I don't know what surname she may be shown with or who she may be living with. There are four in Allegany co and they are listed by Districts and I don't know what they mean to location.
