I assume that you are using Ancestry.com, since their current offereing is only 1841-1861. They told me that they are working to get 1871, 1881, 1891 and 1901 online. In the mean time, you could use the Scottish Governemnts's official site www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk. It's expensive to use (pay per view), but it has the complete 1841-1901 Scottish census collection indexed with images. You pay for credits up front and then use those credits for searching and if you desire, viewing the images associated with the search result. They also have civil Birth, Marriage and Death Registration records for 1855 thru the early 1900's, and OPR Baptismal and Marriage records with images for before 1855.
