My father in law was William Kuhlman, born about 1911. His father was George Kuhlman and his mother Adeline. George's father was Bernard Kuhlman. Bernard had a son Bernandine (I probably am not spelling right) who became a Priest. Father Bernandine. He also had 3 daughters who all became nuns. Sister Leocadia, the other names may come to me. A daughter, Josephine, there may be others. Bill had brothers, George, Bernard, Jim, sisters, Angela, Mary, 2 more, I think, there were 8 kids in that family. My father in law and wife, Ursula Martz, lived on Martz Lane in LaVale, which comes off Vocki Drive. And I think their original homeplace was once part of the Vocke farm? But you may have all that. My husband was Lawrence (1926/1999). I have never really researched this line but would be interested in anything you would like to share. I know Bernard is buried at Sts Peter and Paul Cemetery in Cumberland and last I was there the stone was standing but very faint. George and Adeline are buried at Mt Savage. That's it in a nutshell. I live in LaVale. I was born in Frostburg so haven't moved far away. It is so nice to find someone researching Kuhlman. I know the family was in Cumberland by 1848/49 when the cornerstone for Sts Peter and Paul was laid. More may come to me. Sharon
