Matt, Following is the scant info I have about Mattie. I was following the line of Joseph Keys b 1813 in VA. hoping for a tie in to my Keyes line. Mattie's husband Joseph B. is his son. I have never been able to prove a connection between these families. I do not have any pictures of Mattie or her family, sorry. If you can add any leads to my Keys Keyes line please let me know. She married (1) JOSEPH B. KEYS, JR. Abt. 1877, son of JOSEPH KEYS and MARGARET. He was born 1857 in Halltown, Jefferson Co., Virginia, and died 20 May 1923 in Cumberland, Allegany Co., MD.. She married (2) WILLIAM S COMBS Abt. 1896, son of JOHN S. COMBS. He was born Apr 1872 in MD, and died 13 Jan 1933 in Allegany Hospital, Cumberland, Allegany Co., MD.. Notes for MATTIE FLETCHER: She is listed with her parents in Beford Co. Pa. as Martha Ann and aged 3 yrs. In 1880 census she is listed as 25 years old, making her birthdate 1855 and says she was born in W VA A file on the LDS site lists her name as Mollie In the 1900 Census she says she was born Sept. 1861 I have her death Certificate on file. The marriage record for Mineral Co. W VA lists Mattie Nether age 21 married to JB Keys age 21 on 9-11-1877 I had gotten the Fletcher maiden name from the 1920 census where W S Combs and wife Mattie has Sarah Fletcher living with them and listed as MIL to head of household. In the 1910 Census Paul is listed as a RR Machinist, living in Newark City, Licking Co., Ohio with William and Mattie Combs. iii. CHARLES H. KEYS, b. Feb 1884, W VA; m. CLARA E., Abt. 1914; b. Abt. 1895, MD. Notes for CHARLES H. KEYS: His name and info from 1900 census. Was living with his sister Maud in Cumberland at that time. In 1910 census he is living in Newark City, Licking Co., Ohio with William and Mattie Combs. His occupation is listed as a machinist.
