I attempted to obtain naturalization papers for my g-grandfather for the approximate time frame you are looking for info, and found that the only information available was from the index files. The actual documents had been lost in a fire that destroyed all of the Maryland citizenship records for that era. My g-grandfather applied for citizenship in 1848 and became a citizen in 1853.
