    3. ANOTHER SOMMERVILE - TWIGG HIT HER Mrs. Bible contends that Twigg struck her and knocked her down, discoloring her about the head. The plaintiff's testimoney that she gave no cause for the assault, was was corroborated by her husband. Bible said that Twigg drove a team through his property, breaking a locked private gate on the Oldtown Road beyond Twiggtown. During a dispute Rudolph Twigg is said to have struck Mrs. Bible twice in the face. Bible declared on the stand that he was afraid of Twigg, who he asserted was an "Outlaw." He admitted that he, the husband, being a membr of the Pentacostal sect which forbids violance, did not defend his wife. The defense went on the stand in the afternoon, denying the woman's story. There was much conflicting testamony. Bible and Attorney, W.M. SOMERVILLE, engaged in a debate as what time groundhogs come out of their dens. It caused some merriment in the courtroom. Mrs. Bible is represented by W. L. Richard and Geo. A. Legge, Jr. H.R. Donnelly and Geo. A. Somerville, the defendant. I don't have a date for this article but I think it may have occured about the 1920's. Connie
