I sure do appreciate all the good ideas for funding. It's been over 50 years since our last reunion (!!!) We have some really great items to sell at the reunion; a CD of my grandfather singing Scottish tunes as well as a family history booklet and t-shirts. We're going to mention in the invitation, "rare family memorabelia will be for sale" (so guests will bring their checkbooks). Hopefully we'll have lots of sales and no one will have the burden of too much expense. Thanks again; any more ideas, please post them. When you read of pilfering, stealing etc in non-profit situations it is usually because proper safeguards (like 2 signatures) aren't followed. It is wise to have a checking account that requires two (2) signatures per check. I just mailed out my flyers last week. And on one page I inserted copies of 4x6 group photo from 2005 and one for 2006. Heading on top of page was: IF YOU DON'T KNOW ANY OF THESE PEOPLE IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO ATTEND THE HAMILTON REUNION !! HOpe it works, Ruth
