My WAGGONER ancestor came to Allegany Co., MD from Nova Scotia, but under different circumstances. He was most likely a Hessian who accepted a land grant at Bear River, NS following the Revolution. (He had been a pow at Frederick, MD) He stayed a couple of years in NS, then migrated south back to MD. I believe the BARTH family also came to the area due to a Hessian/Nova Scotia connection. Susan
