Looking for information on the following family: There is a Richard Reid(any spelling) 33, and family, wife Bridget 36 and children, Peter 12, bn England, Rose 8, bn England, Margaret, 4, bn Maryland, Richard 2, bn England and Michael 10/12, bn Mary on the 1870 census in Lonaconing. Richard is a miner. By 1880, Bridget appears on the Leadville, Co census married to a Thomas Green with a son James Green age 3. It would seem that Richard Reed died between July 1870 when the census was taken and 1877 when James Green was born. The Reed children don't show up until later census. Maybe they stayed in Maryland after their mother married Thomas Green. Would like to find out what happened to Richard and any other information regarding the family.
