    2. When at the Cumberland Public in January, I copied some pages from a book "The Land of the Living - The Story of Marylands Green Ridge Forest" by John Marsh. Can someone tell me what or where the Green Ridge Forest is? On page 695 it has a picture of a house with the following caption under it - "The Robinson house and family circa 1890. in February, 1902 this house burned killing four children including a set of twins. The remains were buried at the 54 Cemetery. (Leo Robinson) Does anyone have information on the residents of this house? Where is 54 Cemetery? Anyone researching Leo Robinson. Thanks. 3. The Evening Times, Cumberland, March 28, 1905, The Mining Region - rostburg - The many friends of Mr. Richard Morgan were sorry to learn of his death Friday afternoon at the home of his brother, Theo Morgan, at Wright Crossing near Frostburg, from asthma, with which the deceased had been afflicted for many years. Mr. Morgan was born in Wales in the year 1841, coming to this country several years ago where he engaged in coal mining, which occupation he followed up until his failing health compelled him to relinquish it. The funeral took place Sunday afternoon from the residence of his brother. The funeral cortege proceeded to Eckhart Mines under the direction of Gehauf and Mayer, where interment was made in the family lot. The Baptist minister conducted the funeral service at the home and grave. (Richard died on the 24th and was buried on the 26th)

    3. Thanks Sheryl This is my gg-grandfather's brother (Theo was my gg-grandfather) Even with all this information I have been unable to locate his death certificate. Additionally, there are two Richard Morgans in Allegany county during this time frame. I have most assuredly eliminated one but can not confirm the other. The one I think is him is listed as "cripple" in the census records - given the reference to asthma it is a good clue - he had a wife and children but they have all led me to brick walls. Thanks for the obit T
