Several of my ancestors were killed in this mine disaster in Elk Garden in 1911. Great great grandfather John Wilson, age 57, and his two sons, Lester 18, George 23, and a son in law Frank Wilson 23. John's widow Cecelia, also spelled Celecia, lived in Moscow, between Lonaconing and Barton.
