    3. Here's a question for you all. How or do you all organize all the emails that come in through the mailing list? I try to read through them all and pick out what pertains to my research and save them in a folder. But, some of you seem to have a lot of information about a lot of different families and thank goodness you share it with the rest of us. I am fairly new at this and I'm afraid of deleting one that I may need or want later as I discover new relatives. Any suggestions on this? 3. I read, save what I need at the time and then delete daily. You can always find the info again. If the e-mail has documentation I need, I copy and paste to my notes on PAF 5 and write a note to myself to check further. I do know a lot of people who save every e-mail, that's a lot of paper to store. A hint to pass on: To save ink when printing, go to preferences, select draft, then go to advanced and chose "print in grayscale". An ink cartridge lasts a very long time using this method. 3. Louann, You can always go to Rootsweb.com; find the Mailing List for MDALLEGA and search the archives or read every post in the browser section. There is no need to save so much to your own computer. Rootsweb (thankfully) does that for us. 3. Hi Louann, I learned long ago that I need to print them. I have a notebook with tabs for surnames and they're all in there. On cold winter nights, I read through them to see if I can find new clues. Otherwise my computer would bog down. 3. John, I have no idea at this point. All I know is that my father's mother was Nina Mabel Knott born 19 April 1896 in Elk Garden, WV. She died 23 Feb 1954. Her father was William Knott dob abt 1861. Her mother was Indiana Missouri Boyd dob abt. 1865. I think they lived in Elk Garden, and then in Piedmont, WV. That's about all I have.
