Chere, Do you know anyone at that church? Is Midland Methodist the same as Grace Methodist Church in Midland? Lionel Barker told me that Clarence McCloud was his Dad's minister at Grace. I am going to try to contact Grace United Methodist Church but I do not believe they will have any records since the funeral was at the funeral home not the church. Now to just find a date her headstone says she died in 1961. Pat, Yes, Grace Methodist is the Methodist church in Midland. Eichhorn/McKenzie funeral home might have the record, have you tried? I should know this person, Alice Kaylor, as I was attending Grace Methodist and teaching Sunday School there at the time. My cousin Patty Thrasher Morton attends there regularly Patty-301-463-2750.
