    3. The following obituary for William Jefferson Crowe has conflicting info from what I have. Can someone please verify? Obituary: William Jefferson Crowe, 85, of 534 Fairview Avenue, died yesterday in Allegany Hospital. He had been in failing health in recent months. Born in Barton, Mr. Crowe was a retired B. and O. carman's helper. His parents were the late Henry and Sarah (McIntyre) Crowe. He was a charter member of the Frostburg Arion Band and also belonged to Frostburg Aerie No. 1273, P. O. Eagles, and the Knights of Pythias there. Surviving are his widow, the former Miss Mary Offman; five daughters, Mrs. R. Heber Poland, Westernport; Mrs. Heyl D. Walker, this city; Mrs. Harry Pollock and Mrs. Claude Warehime, Baltimore; and Mrs. Harvey Danner, Chicago; three sons, Curtis Crowe, Cumberland; Orville Crowe, Baltimore; and Zach Crowe, Cleveland; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home where services will be conducted tomorrow at 3:30 p. m. by Rev. Dr. Hixon T. Bowersox, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.     3. Sheryl, I have the same info as in the obit below. Abraham and Sarah did have a son named William born abt. 1867, but I have no spouse or children listed for him. Pat Hook may be able to assist you, if I remember correctly she is a descendant of Abraham and Sarah's daughter Laura. Dick Crow "The Ole Crow" Retired and enjoying it!
