In 2008, $35,000.00 from 1891 is worth: $854,376.98 using the Consumer Price Index $795,074.85 using the GDP deflator using the value of consumer bundle $4,339,492.75 using the unskilled wage $6,855,020.49 using the nominal GDP per capita $32,399,669.86 using the relative share of GDP The 2008 observations for U.S. nominal GDP, nominal GDP per capita, population and GDP deflator are preliminary numbers that will change. Data for consumer bundle only starts in 1900. Data for unskilled wage is only available through 2007.
